Random Thoughts – February 2012

There is only one thing I regularly fight with my mom about. Tomatoes in the fridge. NEVER PUT TOMATOES IN THE FRIDGE! She thinks its okay, I’m vehemently against it.

Have you ever had a refrigerated tomato? It tastes like cardboard.

I watched Lars and the Real Girl again this weekend. Still my favorite role by Gosling. The movie is hilarious and heartwarming.

Do yourself a favor, go out and get yourself some mint green tea and make it with some orange blossom honey. Thank me later. I highly recommend this: http://www.republicoftea.com/product.aspx?p=V00611

This cover is full of awesome:

I think, like most people my age, I’ve complained about the lack of good music the last few years, but once in a while a truly GREAT song hits. See Gotya, “Somebody I Used to Know.”

Continuing on the music tangent, we all hate Chris Brown, but “Forever” continues to be one of the greatest pop songs of the last 10 years. It’s because of his own stupidity that it didn’t become a classic, such as Usher’s “Yeah” or Timberlake’s “My Love.”

Going to be doing some traveling in the next few weeks. West Coast then the South. I’m looking forward to it and getting away for a bit. I prefer the West Coast, but FL won’t be too bad.

I think I’m getting addicted to bow ties.

I recently hypothesized about something, but it’s too soon to talk about right now. I’m gonna refer to it as the TAC Theory. Will have to explain later.

You ever notice that brown guys always travel in groups of three?

While Whitney Houston’s death is tragic, I’ll be more bothered when Mariah Carey dies. Dude, I’ve been regularly listening to her since I was 8.

I CANNOT wait until Spring is in full form. I’m due another DC walkabout. Maybe that’ll be my next post. A picture blog of my walkabout.
